Top 100 in Rollerbeetle racing fixed? - Guild Wars Forums

I know that there's a top 100 speeds for the rollerbeetle racings, and that those top 100 will recieve prizes at the end of the festival. The only problem that I see with this, is that it seems rather fixed. Based on what I've seen, the only way you could get scores as high as 470,000 would be if you constantly got super roller beetle and echoed it. Since all crates that you open are entriely random, that means that getting in the top 100 is based purely on how lucky you are, which in my opinion, is quite unfair. The system is set up in such a way that those who are actually good at the mini-game get left in the dust by those who get lucky. I think the top 100 should re-fixed somehow into a way that's based on how good a player actually is, such as most consecutive wins in a row. Consecutive wins in a row would still be slightly based on luck and what power-ups you get from the crates, but the way it's set up would require you to win multiple rounds in a row, greatly decresing your chance of getting that lucky all the time.

So, any opinions on if you think the top 100 provided is fair or not? I'd like to not be the only one who sees this as just another rip-off.

its not luck, its just that you need to practice it at first a bit like 5 to 6 turns then you find all the shortcuts and the right time to apply the skills.. Race is fun I love it!

actually, there is a certain amount of luck to it star, it's impossible to get that fast a time without having at least 1 superbeetle powerup + knowing where every last shortcut is.
